Kenwood BM450 Stainless Steel Breadmaker

Baking healthy, homemade bread couldn’t be easier with the Kenwood BM450 Breakmaker

The Kenwood BM450 has 15 programs for bread, doughs, cakes and jams, and a rapid bake setting for a fresh loaf of bread in as little as 58 minutes. The additional 5 “personal” program settings allow you to set your own timings for each of the stages involved in bread making (pre heat, kneading, rising and baking). Large, medium or small loaves (500g, 750g or 1kg) can easily be prepared depending on your individual needs.

The BM450 has a stylish design with a stainless steel and black glass finish, touch sensitive controls and an LCD panel, which is all easy to wipe clean. The ingredients dispenser has a 125g capacity, and automatically opens and dispenses ingredients at the appropriate time during the bread making cycle. For added convenience, the internal oven light and viewing window, makes it possible to inspect your bread making progress.

This breadmaker also comprises of a 12 hour delay timer, 1 hour keep warm function, convection fan, power failure memory and the unique Kenwood kneader, which has been designed to remove easily from the loaf without leaving a large hole, and also helps to incorporate all of the ingredients from the corners of the pan.

Comments from customers who bought this product

" I have made a banana, chocolate and walnut loaf, a cinammon and raisin loaf, and a normal wholemeal loaf, all of which came out perfectly. I didn't know how well the ingredients
(I mean the nuts, etc) would be distributed, but it worked well and they were smattered throughout the loaves ”

" If you think that you will make lots of different kinds of bread and want to be able to programme the machine to suit non-standard recipes - this is the machine for you” J. H.Bretts

The is quite large and takes up a fair bit of space, so if you have a small kitchen or are limited with space, you may prefer to go for a smaller model. Having said that, you probably won't have the same options that this breadmaker provides. Lots of scope for the adventurous bread baker.
